On the occasion of the commemoration of the 70th anniversary of Historic Student Day, the National Higher School of Built and Groundworks Engineering organized, on the morning of May 19, 2026, a symbolic commemorative ceremony marking this significant national occasion. The event was held under the supervision of the Director of the School and the Secretary-General, and was attended by members of the university community, including faculty members, administrative staff, students, and workers.
📌Highlights of the commemorative ceremony:
A ceremonial tribute to the national flag, accompanied by the performance of the national anthem, Kassaman;
A moment of remembrance, including the recitation of Surat Al-Fatiha in honor of the souls of our righteous martyrs, in recognition of their noble sacrifices that paved the way for freedom and independence;
A symbolic tree-planting initiative commemorating Student Day and promoting the values of loyalty, belonging, and environmental and civic responsibility among future generations.
