On May 6th, 2026, a pedagogical field visit was organized for second-year students specializing in Basic Infrastructure to the wilaya of Béjaïa. During this visit, the students toured the Sabta workshop, specialized in metallic structures, as well as the Cosider facility dedicated to the prefabrication of concrete segments.
The visit concluded with an on-site inspection of one of the bridges in the wilaya, under the supervision of Professor Amiour, an expert in engineering structures, and accompanied by Professor Khaouas.
These visits provided valuable insight into the various stages involved in the fabrication of metallic structures and precast concrete elements, while also allowing them to observe their practical applications within a real engineering structure. This educational experience enabled the students to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical field applications, thereby strengthening their technical competencies in the field of Basic Infrastructure.
