As part of the preparations for the official opening of the ‘Espace dédié à l'intelligence artificielle et ses applications dans le domaine de la construction et des travaux publics’ at the École Nationale Supérieure des Travaux Publics, the school's director, Professor Fouzia Mekidache Chafaa, met on Tuesday 3 October 2023 with a group of professors and researchers interested in this field to highlight the importance and necessity of integrating artificial intelligence into all levels of education, both initial and post-graduate. The school was honoured to welcome Professor Samir Aït Amer and Professor Rafik Bestanji, representatives of the Numidia Institute of Technology (NIT), who helped to enrich the discussions by making significant contributions.
The meeting resulted in a set of practical measures to be taken in the short, medium and long term to lay the foundations for artificial intelligence as an essential element in the training of engineers and researchers in the field of public works.
