The National Higher School of Built and Groundworks Engineering hosted, on May 21st, 2026, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Professor Kamel Baddari, as part of an official visit reflecting the growing attention given to the role of higher education institutions in promoting innovation, engaging with the economic environment, and fostering an entrepreneurial spirit among students.

The visit began with the inauguration of the School’s new football field, followed by the symbolic launch of the first match, as well as the inauguration of the Shared Services Space. The program then extended to visits to the digital fabrication laboratory, the entrepreneurship development center, and the university incubator.

This visit also provided valuable insight into several projects incubated within the School, reflecting a promising dynamic in areas such as artificial intelligence, digital technologies, civil engineering, infrastructure maintenance, waste valorization, and the transition toward sustainable, low-carbon solutions.

The Minister and the accompanying delegation then proceeded to the space dedicated to shared services and economic partners, where project presentations were delivered, followed by a press statement, before concluding with a ceremony recognizing project holders, recipients of the “innovative project” label, and beneficiaries of entrepreneurship training programs.

This milestone reaffirms the School’s commitment to strengthening its academic and training mission, while actively engaging in the development of a productive, innovation-driven university model aligned with national development needs.
