As part of the school’s policy of combining theoretical and practical training, and in line with efforts to integrate students into the professional environment, the Department of Materials and Structures (DMS) organized a field visit to the project of constructing 300 high-end housing units along the capital’s seafront, in the municipality of Hussein Dey.

The project consists of two 30-story towers, four underground levels, a shopping center, and a service floor.

What distinguishes this project—marking a first in Algeria—is the connection between the two towers by a 34-meter-long metallic structural walkway at the 30th floor, at a height of 105 meters.

We extend our most sincere expressions of gratitude to the project owner (ENPI), the construction company (ASLAN), the supervision office (SETAM), and the technical control center (CTC) for their hospitality and valuable explanations.
